Overview

The Manitowoc/Grove GMK expansion Project in Shady Grove PA consisted of 80,000 sq. ft. of new construction to three manufacturing areas and 10,000 sq. ft. of renovation to their Crane Care Services Office area. The manufacturing areas were phased to complete each area with in a 6 month time period to allow a continuously uninterrupted manufacturing schedule to operate. The project was completed under a General Contractor/Design Build scenario. The GMP was maintained throughout the project with owner added Scope of Work offset by he cost savings achieved. All project schedules were met and operation at Grove continued throughout the Project uninterrupted.
